Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Kuura Foods online store and the purchase of products through kuurafoods.fi and kuurafoods.com (the "Store"). By placing an order you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

The Store is operated by Kuura Foods, a sole trader (toiminimi) registered in Finland. Business address: Huuhkajankuja 1 C 19, 70820 Kuopio, Finland. Contact: info@kuurafoods.fi.

All products sold by Kuura Foods are freeze-dried wild and cultivated berries produced in Finland. Product descriptions, images, and nutritional information are provided in good faith and are as accurate as reasonably possible. Slight natural variations in colour, size, and flavour may occur between batches as the products are made from wild-harvested or seasonal Finnish berries.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product or modify product specifications at any time without prior notice.

All prices displayed in the Store are in Euros (EUR) and include Finnish VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs are displayed separately at checkout and added to the order total.

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and other methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely at the time of ordering. We do not store your full card details.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors at any time. If an error is discovered after you have placed an order, we will notify you and give you the option to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, for example in cases of suspected fraud, payment failure, or stock unavailability.

Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct at the time of ordering. Kuura Foods cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.

We ship orders from Kuopio, Finland. Estimated delivery times are:

•       Finland: 2–5 business days

•       Germany and EU: 5–10 business days

•       International: subject to confirmation at time of order

 

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, including postal delays, customs clearance, and public holidays. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery of the products to the shipping carrier. Title to the products passes upon full payment.

Kuura Foods products are food items. Please observe the following:

•       Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat.

•       Reseal the pouch tightly after each use.

•       Observe the best before date printed on each pouch.

•       Once opened, consume within 3 months for optimal quality.

•       Products are not suitable as a sole food source.

 

If you have a known food allergy or intolerance, please review the full ingredients and allergen information on the product label before consuming. Our products are made from pure berries with no additives, but they are packed in a facility that may also handle other food products.

All content on the Store including text, images, logos, and design elements is the property of Kuura Foods or its licensors and is protected by Finnish and EU intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish and EU consumer law, Kuura Foods shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or the Store. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish consumer protection law (kuluttajansuojalaki) or applicable EU regulations.

These Terms of Service are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes shall first be addressed by contacting us at info@kuurafoods.fi. If we are unable to resolve the matter amicably, you may refer the dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, www.kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi), which provides free dispute resolution for consumers.

You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for cross-border disputes.

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at kuurafoods.fi/policies/privacy-policy. By placing an order you consent to the processing of your data as described therein.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be available on the Store. Continued use of the Store after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
