Finnish berries. Nothing else.
Finland's short, intense summer produces berries that are smaller, more concentrated and nutritionally denser than cultivated varieties. Every Kuura pouch contains one of these — harvested and frozen at peak ripeness, then freeze-dried and packed carefully keeping maximum flavor and long shelf-life.
Fully pigmented through the flesh — not just the skin. Higher anthocyanin content per gram than cultivated blueberry. Cannot be farmed; grows only in undisturbed boreal forest.
Sharp, tart and distinctively Finnish. High in vitamin C and naturally shelf-stable. Balances the sweetness of blueberry in our Berry Mix.
The most vitamin C-dense berry we use — approximately 180mg per 100g fresh, roughly four times that of orange. Deep colour from exceptional anthocyanin content.
Finnish summer produces strawberries at their natural ripeness. Freeze dried whole. Intense flavour and natural sweetness, with high vitamin C content.
Wild vs cultivated. Blueberry and lingonberry are genuinely wild — they cannot be farmed at scale. Blackcurrant and Strawberry are Finnish cultivated. We say so clearly because the distinction matters.
