1. Overview

Kuura Foods ships orders from Kuopio, Finland. We offer delivery options depending on your location: same-day local delivery within Kuopio, standard domestic shipping within Finland, and international shipping to selected EU countries. All orders are carefully packed to ensure your freeze-dried berries arrive in perfect condition.

3. Local Delivery — Kuopio and Surroundings

We offer personal same-day delivery within a 15km radius of Kuopio city centre. This service is handled directly by Kuura Foods — your order is delivered by hand, ensuring the highest level of care for your product.

How it works

• Place your order before 12:00 (noon) Finnish time on a business day.

• You will receive a confirmation email and a message to agree on a delivery window for that afternoon or evening.

• Delivery is made to your door within the agreed time slot — no waiting at a locker.

• Orders placed after 12:00 will be delivered the following business day.

Local delivery rate

€2,50 flat rate for all orders within the Kuopio 15km zone.

Free delivery for orders of €20 or more within the same zone.

Coverage area

The local delivery zone covers Kuopio city centre and surrounding areas within approximately 15km, including Petonen, Saarijärvi, Neulamäki, Puijonlaakso, Kelloniemi, and similar districts. If you are unsure whether your address falls within the zone, please contact us at info@kuurafoods.fi before placing your order.

4. Standard Shipping — Finland

Orders outside the Kuopio local zone are shipped via Posti or Matkahuolto to a parcel locker of your choice or to your home address.

• Standard shipping rate: €5,90 per order

• Free shipping on orders of €40 or more

• Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days from dispatch

• All orders are sent with tracking — you will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched

We aim to dispatch all Finland orders within 1–2 business days of receiving payment. During busy periods or public holidays, dispatch may take up to 3 business days.

5. International Shipping — EU

We currently ship to selected EU member states. Orders are sent via tracked international postal service. Rates and delivery times vary by zone:

• EU — Nordics (Denmark, Sweden): €9,90 | Free over €60 | 3–5 business days

• EU — Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania): €8,90 | Free over €60 | 3–5 business days

• EU — Central Europe (Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Czechia, Poland, Hungary, Luxembourg, Slovakia): €13,90 | Free over €60 | 5–8 business days

• EU — Western & Southern (France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Slovenia): €16,90 | Free over €60 | 5–8 business days

• All international orders are fully tracked

• VAT is included in all prices displayed — no additional taxes apply within the EU

Delivery times to EU destinations are estimates and may be affected by local postal services or public holidays. Kuura Foods cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control once the parcel has been handed to the carrier.

We do not currently ship outside the EU. If you are located outside the EU and would like to place an order, please contact us at info@kuurafoods.fi and we will do our best to assist.

6. Order Processing

• Orders placed on business days before 14:00 Finnish time are typically dispatched the same day.

• Orders placed after 14:00 or on weekends and public holidays are dispatched the next business day.

• You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase and a separate dispatch confirmation with tracking details once your order has been collected by the carrier.

7. Packaging

All Kuura Foods orders are packed with care to protect your products during transit. Freeze-dried berries are fragile and sensitive to moisture — we use appropriately sized boxes with protective inner packaging to ensure the pouches arrive undamaged and the seals remain intact.

Our outer shipping packaging is kept as minimal and recyclable as possible. We do not use excessive filler materials.

8. Failed Deliveries and Uncollected Parcels

If a parcel locker delivery is not collected within the holding period (typically 7–14 days depending on carrier), the parcel will be returned to us. In this case we will contact you to arrange redelivery. A redelivery fee of €5,90 (Finland) or the applicable EU rate may apply unless the failed delivery was caused by an error on our part.

Please ensure your delivery address, contact details, and preferred parcel locker are entered correctly at checkout. Kuura Foods cannot be held responsible for parcels that cannot be delivered due to incorrect information.

9. Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at info@kuurafoods.fi within 5 days of the expected delivery date. We will investigate with the carrier and offer a replacement or refund as appropriate. Please refer to our Refund and Return Policy for full details.
